Removing Factory Fender Flares

During the process of removing my factory flares today to replace them with a new set, I've got quite a few of the bolts spinning.

I was going to just grind them off since the new flares come with new hardware.

But figured I'd check first if there's an easier / better way before I did something I shouldn't.

If I can figure out how to remove the plastic inner fender well shield, can I get to all the backs of the flare bolts?

Only the first few screws on each end have nutserts. If you grind them off, you'll need to replace them. You can't get to the backs of them. The new flares don't contain nutserts, just screws and those damn square plastic nuts. To access those, just push the inner shield aside and grab them.

Lol, yes for sure. Sitting here wondering why I felt the need to replace the flares
