Replace tail lights with LED or change bulb?

I like the LED ones that look just like the original, but low profile... can’t remember the brand...
 
I just changed the bulb to red leds. The led needs to match the lens color for it for be bright. Here is mine on a bright sunny day

If you want 25% brighter brake lights for only $6.49 and one minute of your time, try using 2357 bulbs instead of 1157 bulbs.

The 2357 bulb is interchangeable with the stock 1157 but the stop light filament is brighter. This link explains:

I replaced the entire assembly with I think Rugged Ridge LED modules for under $50. Advantage to that is my license plate is illuminated the same all the time now instead of lighting up 2x when I hit the brake due to the old style. Plenty bright and has a built in relay.
