Replacement radiator

Flowkooler Robertshaw thermostat.

Never use Motorad.

Mopar (made by Motorad) and 195* Robert Shaw (Flowkooler) are known to be good to go. Neither has worked better than the other for me, but both work as they should.

Don’t buy the $6 Motorad and ignorantly assume it’s the same quality as the contract manufactured part for Jeep.

I went through a handful of aluminum core/plastic tank replacement radiators that leaked on my JKUR and the Mishimoto was the one that finally lasted without developing leaks. It cooled great but had the factory electric fans though so a different animal than our TJ clutch fans.

Well, I pulled the trigger on the CSF all metal 2576 copper / brass OE spec radiator. Hopefully all goes well and in ten years I can give it the 👍

Please let us know how it cools. I just installed one and now my '99 TJ is running hot, though I have absolutely no proof that it is because of the radiator.
