Rock slider idea

So, idea. I know the general consensus is body mount sliders over frame mount... But what about if i fab a frame mount slider that also bolts to the body mounts to help with rigidity and keep it from flexing, and have a bar bent around the floor pan up to the rocker by the door to protect it? Keeps from having to drill into the body and should be super strong if i use the right materials, right?

body mounted sliders are most ideal. sliders that tie into the body mounts are least ideal.

There's no need to deal with any sort of rigidity issues, especially if using a well designed slider like the Savvy ones.

If you have a problem with drilling into the body, you shouldn't be driving where rocker protection is necessary.

If you drive where rocker protection is necessary, you shouldn't have a problem drilling into the body.

Your idea, even under the the best implementation, needlessly robs the Jeep of ground clearance. It is solving a problem there doesn't need to be solved in that manner.

Out of curiosity, does someone have a picture of the underside of their Savvy sliders or the install instructions so I can see how they mount?
