Why would PS leave 2/3 of the underside unsupported and exposed?

OP, the quick rundown is that a slider should not use the body mounts as a means of attachment. Poison Spyder does this. Full wheel well to wheel well coverage should also be desirable. Poison Spyder does not do this.

You're going to have to ask Savvy about the availability of their stuff. The rest of us don't know.

Savvy stuff might take a while, but I think their rock sliders are worth it. I like mine a whole lot. Another good option if you don’t want to wait is the Genright mini boatsides. I like my Savvy’s because they stick out a bit and I can pivot on rocks with them without worrying about my flares. You could do the same with the Genright step technically.

From the photos I’ve seen, I wouldn’t use the poison spyder sliders.

For reference, my Savvy sliders took about 2 months to ship.

I'll bet you can. And there's a lot to be said for buying right the first time.

I'm just suggesting that OP get the sliders that appeal to him most and get out jeeping since it seems that he is currently staying off at least two popular, well traveled local trails he would like to run because he doesn't have any.

I was hoping that my reference to Poison Spyder now being owned by a conglomerate with no scruples about importing cheap Chinesium shit would be enough to steer the discussion to other brands.

@mrblaine it sounds like the Savvy are the way to go and do it right the first time. It looks like on their website that it is a 6-8 week backorder currently but it sounds like it is worth the wait.
