OK, So in an effort to shave MORE weight I decided to ditch my full doors and go half doors. I even lucked up and found BLACK half doors with SPICE interior
Turns out, Spice interior is close to the "camel" of a sahara, but no cigar. So I wanted to paint the interior panels to match my Sahara camel/green interior.
Trouble is...how do I get that color?
A Google search pointed me to various past posts on the old forums. So taking that advice I ordered "CAMEL" interior paint
Color Coat - Plastic & Vinyl Flexible Coating, Camel, 12 oz. Aerosol
Item #: SEM 15173
With Proper prep, and sufficient temps to paint I applied the paint (sorry...forgot to take pics of THAT color) But trust me....way too orange. It's like Trumps make-up artist was turned loose on my door panels!!!
OK so More research......
Touchupdirect:
Jeep Touch Up Paint - Medium Fawn (Interior Color) T5/XT5
Size: Aerosol
Package: Essential
Well dang, this is light sand, and now my dash looks more orange.
(Insert pic here tonight or tomorrow when I get the Jeep out in the sun and you see how horrible this looks)
Does anyone know a source for aerosol dash/door paint that MATCHES the 2002 Sahara tan/camel better than these 2 products?
