It’s not uncommon in my industry (tech) for people to declare their “pronouns”. There’s a small, but highly vocal, population that seems to shame people into silence or agreement.

I truly hope this means that a person commonly walks into a room and demands that they be referred to as "we" in the royal sense.

This country has gotten ridiculous. Is there a term for a 49 year old dude who’s sick and tired of our society becoming more and more filled with drama queens, attention whores, and people who want instantaneous gratification rather than putting in hard work. Cause whatever that term is, I’m coming out of the closet and identifying myself as such.

Different field of work, but I see that a lot too in email signatures. I have nothing but respect for those in the lgbtq+ community, but he labeling/pronoun thing just seems a bit much.

Yeah, there are more than a few: racist, bigoted, homophobic, transphobic...

Are you insinuating those terms apply to me? All that from my little paragraph? I’d love to hear how you reached those conclusions.

These are prime examples of what people like us are called by all of the attention seeking/gender identity challenged individuals (who cringe at the sound of a proper pronoun).
