Savvy off-road sold? (the unofficial Savvy customer support and Savvy rant thread)

It's funny they posted all of these last night. I had a dispute with 2 of them in the comments section of their last past on instagram with an LJ on a lift. Was pretty much about them denying that parts haven't been available 1.5 - 2 years and that the answer is always another month. And then the Savvy account went on to say that they never sold the company. I then proceeded to point out that they posted they were aquired by "The Offroad Group" which means they sold and then it went to crickets. At this point savvy is a joke, I'll be going with Flux for all my aluminum and bumper needs.

Savvy is going to turn into the next Smittybuilt as far as I'm concerned.

How hard would it have been for them just to get on here? They argued about all the misinformation out there, yet never came around to give us something we could chew on. Kinda strange if you ask me.
Don't worry! Savvy hired some new help to answer all of your questions honestly. 🤫

Talked to some people who claim to have been in communication with Gerald through a lot of this, they say the legacy line of products is going to be exactly the same as the old savvy products

Not according to what savvy says on the Instagram account. They made changes to make production easier and faster. Should be interesting to see what happens with them.

What they told me is they will be offering their “newly redesigned products” as well as a legacy design, as for suspension they are switching to rockcrawler again there is no way to verify any of this information I just thought I would mention it

New savvy version of parts should be on a vehicle at trail hero

they had to try to replicate basically all of the old stuff because they lost the files

Gerald makes up a very small portion of the company, mostly there to answer questions they have

they didn’t know what the hardcore corners are…

Gerald is essentially a separate entity from savvy and he handles older the remaining stock I.e cable shifter, body lifts etc.

If your buying a mid arm get it now because they plan to change it for “easier axle swaps” whatever that means.

Tub rails in stainless will eventually make a return.

I’m super happy to have got my mid-arm last year. Combined with the Fox 2.0’s from @pcoplin my LJ is the most comfortable riding solid axle vehicle in the stable. It’s notably better than my JLU on 2.5” kings and better than my 392 on 2.5” Foxes before it was stolen.
