Looking at a tummy tuck… for the Jeep and had a few questions. The Jeep is a 2006 LJ Rubicon with NSG-370. I’ll be adding a BMB 1 1/4” body lift. Savvy and Undercover Fab Works are the two I am considering.
Questions;
1) For the Savvy, do you have to relocate the locker pumps from the skid plate?
2) Motor mount lift- Should I lift the stock mounts with a JKS MM lift or just use a MORE MM lift which would eliminate the stock mounts?
3) I’ll likely add an engine,tranny skid at the same time. Are there any issues I should consider?

UCF would also be aluminum.
I also have the Novak xfer case shifter installed.

I do like the idea of the Savvy having a crossmember so that you can drop the skid plate without supporting the transmission/xfer case.

Appreciate any thoughts, ideas, constructive sarcasm or snarky comments.😁

Thanks in advance,

David

mrblaine mounted the locker pumps on the rear Savvy crossmember on my rig

I'd use some spacers if your OEM isolators are in good shape

I'd echo stock style mount+JKS rec. I put in the standard height MORE motor mounts with rubber bushings last spring and got alot of vibration passed through at low idle. I bumped the idle speed up to 800rpm using HP Tuners, which I already had for other reasons. This smoothed it out and otherwise they're fine.

The MORE mounts are nicely made. I got them because I got an OMIX set that were too narrow for the width of the ears on motor bracket and the bolt on the mount sheared off when torqing it down. Probably a bit of over-reaction, but I was pissed off by the cheap poorly made crap. In hindsight the Anchor brand OEM style replacements are better and I now have a set on hand in case I decide to swap back or need to replace them on my dad's LJ.

I have the UCF extra clearance and MM spacers. Really liking it and it took some hits yesterday.

Just don't forget to check and adjust your fan shroud like me. Then you end up on the trail with a fan that's not spinning and have to bust out the lower portion of the shroud to keep wheeling.
