You should throw some __________________ tires on that thing!

I know we all have fun talking down about the JK, but we may all be driving one some day. TJs won't be around forever. The two JKs I've owned were just as or more off-road capable than the TJ I drive now. They just look a little weird, and have too many electronics, but they're still a Jeep, and a lot of people drive them.

Heresy!!!! Heretic! Kidding. They are still a Jeep. My issue is deep water crossings in them seems to be a big no no. I've met a lot of guys that have ruined their Jk in very small amounts of water and it always is due to the horrible intake placement or all the electronics. One guy in town has this gorgeous JKU Sahara on 37s and it seems very well built, and that's his third due to water ruining them. Said he used to have a TJ and Ford rivers all them time but sold it due to kids. Not to mention you can't seem to leave the top off in the rain with the Jk or it damages the electronics in the dash. A Jeep should be rugged and simple. A JK is only one of those max. Would I own one? Sure, id even buy one at some point. I like em. There are many hundreds of threads about water and JKs and they seem to not mix, where the TJ Yj CJ etc seem to be fine.

I would own and love any wrangler. I like them all. TJ is my favorite by far but I'd like to have at least one of every generation of Jeep including all the CJs.

I don't know man... If people are still driving cars from the 50s, I'm not too worried about the TJ going extinct in my life.

Now if you're talking about a daily driver, that might be different. However, my TJ is just our weekend fun car. I'm not worried in the slightest.
