Shower Tent / Privacy Enclosure

I was doing some online research and stumbled upon a cool product.

I love the concept of this product, and it looks like it is a quality privacy enclosure for using the bathroom/changing, or a great option for taking a shower on the trail.

There are much cheaper versions on Amazon... I just recently used this on an overlanding trip through the desert and it worked great. I bought this version instead of the pop up kind because I wanted it to be a bit more sturdy and wind proof.

How tall are you? It says 70" tall, I'm 74".

My plan is a bent piece of conduit and a shower curtain.

I'm 5'9". If I recall correctly, it was a little cramped if I tried to stand up straight... but when you're trying to take a 3 minute camp shower using a bag strapped to the top of the Jeep you're kind of hunched over one way or another the entire time. It was, however, nice and wide.

Shower tent? You don't need no stinkin' shower tent. You don't need a fancy "overlanding" shower either.

Here's what you do.

Get a Simple Shower.
Fill your 1 or 1.5 liter recyclable bottle with shower temperature water.
Wash down as far as Possible, rinse.
Wash up as far as Possible, rinse.
When no one is looking, drop your shorts and wash Possible.

Done.

I have one from Wally World (Ozark Trail I think?) that has done the trick for many years. It's heavy (steel poles) and bulkier than the one you're interested in. If you're like me and only use it a couple of times a year, you could save some money and use it on TJ upgrades.
