Skid plate removal

I have the skid plate off as I try to diagnose a transmission fluid leak. Is it safe to commute to work next week with it off while I continue to monitor the leak?

Well damn. I guess nothing. I’m a noob. That’s why I come here to ask questions. Now if you will excuse me, I have a skid plate to mount.

Dont worry, there's a good chance nothing is damaged. When skids off make sure you support the transmission, I use a floor Jack with a piece of wood on its and a Jack stand as a backup if I'm under it or tugging on it.

Check your motor mounts, that's a lot of weight hanging there, and those are the only thing holding it all in without the skid plate in
