My 2004 Sport with 41k still has a very slight hitch in it's gittup even after cleaning the original Idle Air Controller. This happens with cold and warm engine temps and isn't evident above idle. I have recently replaced the plugs with the OEM part number. I am thinking I would like to replace the IAC. Rockauto only has 3rd party IACs. Is this the right
part? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0049EQX0O/?tag=wranglerorg-20

If I had to characterize what it does differently than "hitch in it's gittup", I would say 10 seconds feels like this:——-_-—————-__-—————-_-—————-__-—————-_-—————--_-———-, if that makes any sense. Prior to cleaning the IAC, those stumbles might have a larger magnitude. I can't see it change on the Torque app with the OBDII scanner hooked up. It is just kind of annoying, it has been on my list of things to address since my lay off promoted my TJ to DD duty. I am rehired as of Monday so my company can get the SDA loan and I figure that vehicle expenses get applied towards my side-hustle while it is my only job. Hence my other thread about squeaking brakes...
I will go test for vacuum leaks.

Sounds normal. Look into it when the light on the dash says things are messed up. Otherwise it is probably within spec.
I was prepared to go buy that $70 part. Confirming it wasn't going to improve my condition is the reason I posted. Thanks!
I'll still go look for a vacuum leak just in case.
