I think they look odd without, maybe because most all are with.

A Jeep without a spare, especially if you wheel it seems like an unnecessary risk.

I have seen one without a spare and had a 2" body lift.
It was so ugly for you could see the butt crack from a mile
I was even embarrassed to look at it and hesitated to wave at the driver.

When I bought my Jeep the spare had a decent size slash on the front of the tire where I could not patch it and for this reason I don't run a spare. I felt it was just dead weight and unable to use it if I got a flat. Maybe when its time for new set of tires, I will put the spare back on.

Careful on the side mirror when you go doorless, they require at least one.

Took that pic before I put my soft top on and I use a mirror for the driver side that I usually put on before driving.

I’m just talking about cosmetics.

I have seen some rigs without spares that look quite awesome.

I think most don’t run a spare is because they don’t need want to spend the money to get a carrier or purchase the 5th tire. Jeeps just look better with a spare on. Weird looking without IMO
