Specs for Bolts Connecting Rear Bumper to Frame

I forget what SAE means exactly but UNC and UNF are both SAE.

UN is Unified National and the C and F refer to course and fine threads.

I'll be sure to check out that quirks thread.

Mine were missing as well, probably a removed hitch from PO. I picked up both sizes ( M12x1.5 50mm & 7/16-14 1.75”) My 98 took the SAE, Metric would not thread.

Started to remove the back bumper on my 06 LJ. The lower nuts came off OK with an 18 mm socket and a breaker bar. The upper ones have a body mount? in the way to get a socket on them. Any suggestions? I don't have an 18 mm open end wrench.
My Parts List says NUT, Hex, .437-14, (NOT REQUIRED)
Update: I beat a 12 point socket on and got them both loose with some PB Blaster. Now to pry the bumper loose.
Found the two bolts underneath going into the frame rails. Whew. Bumper is off and headed to the powder coater tomorrow.
Ordering new rear bleach bottles.

Thanks for the advice. Not being a mechanic, I'm lacking in tools. Buying them as the need comes up. I'll go look for 17.5 mm and 11/16" sockets.
Thanks!
