Steering stabilizer placement on Currie steering

I have the Currie steering in my Jeep and I’ve seen the steering stabilizer installed a few ways and I believe this way is correct for my 4.5in lift....just wanna make sure

I mounted my bar end a bit more behind the bar itself but, I do not think it makes any difference at all.

Also, for the money they charge for this they should spring for a nicer mount.

Now cycle everything to check for interference and that you're using all the available steering stabilizer travel!

Like just make sure I can move my steering all the way right and left? And make sure the steering stabilizer goes the whole way?

Not quite, you really want to take out your springs and check for interference full tuck, full stuff left, and full stuff right. I had millimetres of clearance myself and had to move the mount on the drag link even.

Got it. I had a jeep shop install this a while back and they showed me the clearance on it then. It was just the other day I saw someone else have the steering stabilizer mounted different. So was just fixing that part.

Ultimately it comes down to interference, if it works better the other way you had it and you verified it then you're good. Most people I have seen run them on the setting I shared, and most of them are the types to cycle their axle to make sure it works right!

It’s on my checklist to get new springs anyway! I’ll get it done soon. Thanks.
