not, here
I recently installed new glass in my driver's side full steel door after the door got smacked hard enough to shatter the window. Post-install, I think I'm having an issue with the alignment or adjustment of the latching mechanism. When I open the door from the inside, I have to keep the unlock side of the lock/unlock button pushed down firmly to open the door while pulling the handle. From the outside I have to keep the key in the door, turned to the unlock position while pulling the handle. The latch and lock were fine after the door was hit; the problem only surfaced after installing the glass. I had this identical problem when I briefly tried on a low quality hard top and when I went back to a soft top it went away immediately. From watching as best I can, the latch seems to not roll completely over to clear the post when actuated by the handle without the lock being actuated, as well. Any ideas?

Spray the mechanism with some lube?

I've seen that flowchart before. And while this issue does fall into the WD40 side and not the duct tape side of the chart, I was hoping for something with a little more substance.
