Blaine has outlined the differences many times on the forum that we can't type out here jeepforum.com. You can Google Savvy vs Novak shifter and the posts will come up. I opted for the Savvy one.

To quote Blaine from 2014, "The Savvy is an improved version after Novak refused to make a few changes to them to improve fit, installation, and function.".
That being said, you want the Savvy shifter, period. I bought mine from Savvy a few years ago, but all this time I was under the impression it was a Novak shifter they were just reselling. Either way, good to know I have the better of the two!

Hello all, thank you for the help. it was the transfer case but I also changed the linkage to cable and it works great. thanks again Tom
