Hey guys, need some help.
The clutch on my TJ has always been quite light. I changed my TJ AX15 gearbox oil and within two days the clutch is very heavy and hard to press.

Is this a coincidence and it’s something else at fault or could it be related?

BTW, my NV3550 hated regular gear oil and was fussy about getting fed Red Line MTL. It was as fussy as Morris the cat and as sloppy as Courtney Love. I scrapped it for a barely broken in replacement.

Check clutch master cylinder. And check trans fluid level. If both are fine you should be ok. I have had many a complaint about new oil making shifting stiffer for the first 100 miles or so, but then seems to smooth out. This is mostly in cold weather. But it should in no way affect clutch movement. And lack of clutch fluid would make the pedal softer and not move the TOB all the way. So heavy clutch? Did you perhaps knock anything when changing trans fluid?
