Super Dana 35 for 31" tires with locker?

Alloy USA doesn’t make them from the correct material. You want 1541H like the Revolution kit. Alloy USA makes them from 4140 chromoly which doesn’t stand up in the long run to the bearings riding on the shaft unless the heat treating is done just right.
Good catch, his link didn't provide a link to the exact shafts showing what they're made from. 4340 Dana 35 axle shafts won't hold up to the outer raceless type of bearings used in a Dana 35. There is insufficient surface hardening which produces this problem...

As Starkey480 recommends, you need 1541H axle shafts, not 4340. 1541H has the extra surface hardening required by the Dana 35's outer axle bearings.
