I currently have OME 2.5" springs (don't recall HD or 2.0 or 2.5 or whatever) that are like 15+ years old, RSX9000's that are the same age worn and rusty, a 1.25" BL, and 33's. I also have a SYE, Ford 8.8, and chromoly shafts in the Dana 30 for reference.
I just picked up a used set of Savvy short arms that may or may not need rebuilding and a Currie adjustable rear track bar for $free.99. Got to looking at the Jeep today and maybe I'm crazy, but I'm seeing a decent rake to it. I had added .75" spacers up front to get rid of the rake a while ago but either it's sagging more up front now or I'm crazy. Could also be the new Savvy aluminum rear bumper and gas tank skid just raised the rear up some too I suppose. Anywho....
I was thinking about possibly longer springs up front to remove the rake, but since the shocks are old along with everything else, maybe just do everything? Considering what I already have, would going bigger i.e. 3"-4" range be a lot more work then just taken springs or even a good idea? That would allow 35's later, no? Maybe just another fresh set of OME 2.5" springs? If so, which ones? So many options. More looking for general recommendations and thoughts. This is an area I'm definitely lacking in knowledge and will defer to the wisdom and experience on this board.
Jeep is primarily a daily driver, but I don't have to drive far to work and have other cars if I need. I probably wheel like 6-7 times a year.
