Swapping a NSG370 for a AX15

Curious if anyone has swapped out their 6spd 06 TJ , for a AX15 5spd. Long story here but I have no reverse and there are zero parts available. So looking to swap it out

I had the 6 speed in my 06 and swapped to the 42RLE.

I'm doing the swap to a 42RLE right now. I believe @freedom_in_4low did the swap to an AX-15 and has a helpful thread on it. It is the swap that Advanced Adapters is suggesting for those terrible 6-speeds. I had the same issue. R virtually went out. Very difficult to get it in R.

I just finished up buying the parts to swap my 05 to an AX15 from the NSG370. As said above @freedom_in_4low has a great write up on doing it. I plan to start mine in the spring.

THIS is the best move, unless you really enjoy owning/driving manual.

I've made the decision myself, if my NSG blows, I'll be doing the 42RLE swap.
