I think a little more description of how you play with your jeep is in order here. Perhaps some high misalignment joints and sway disconnects are in order.
Did you jump airborne the front end? The crystalline appearance of the sway bar mount would indicate the damage happened very sudden.
Shocks bottoming out, forcing the axle to rotate was brought up by others. By measuring the amount of shock travel and comparing it to distance from the lower hockey pucks to the upper cup would tell us if the shock bottoms out before the bumpstop.
