I could. I have all the parts, but need to verify the harness. FWIW, the thought did cross my mind!

I spent time, almost two years, looking for a suitable candidate. Price, and vehicle age, ultimately made me give up the search.

The XJ was the red headed stepchild of the jeep lineup. A couple years ago, a mint XJ could be had for $3500.00.
Now, they have a ton of mileage or a ton of abuse. The going rate here on a high mileage abused XJ is 6K.
