I wanted to share something with my Jeeping friends that may not know this.

My Girlfriend does a lot for the community, and lately she asked me for my old pill bottles. and since I am not the healthiest guy in the world I have plenty. She told me that the homeless shelters want old pill bottles because they are waterproof and they can put liquid soap and shampoo in them and hand them out to the homeless. I think that is great, but it got me thinking. Now I donate them, and save some for my tackle box or tool box for small tools. I wanted to share this with people that may be throwing away old pill bottles you can recycle them for use for a free small water proof solution that might be right under your nose.

I also use them in my overnight bag for storing shampoo and conditioner. Also can be used for spices and or oils for cooking.

If anybody already knows this, and is using this for other things feel free to share.

I didn't realize they were actually 100% waterproof. The top has some sort of o-ring seal or something that can keep water out?

Ah the days of youth. You will soon enough, then you will have a tackle box full haha. Yes there is an oring type seal. They are 100% waterproof. And a lot of people have them laying around. You are one of the lucky ones that do not. Best of all they come in different shapes if you get a 3 months supply you get a bigger bottle than a month supply (I changed the picture to show this in the original post). And they are quality compared to the little bottles you buy at target.

I discovered that they're wonderful for holding the assorted loose drill bits I have acquired through the years. They lay down in the drawer of the tool box, and they keep the bits from taking up a bunch of space. The good set still stays in their original holder, obviously...
