So normally my temp gauge always sits just slightly to the left of 210 once it's at normal operating temperature. It only scoots up in the summer, climbing a hill, really hot weather, etc. And by scoots up, I mean it goes either right to 210 or a tiny bit past it. That seems to be normal from what I've seen. But I drove it a few days ago in some below freezing weather (for the first time actually it's been damn cold here lately) and it did this weird thing where it would warm up to about 210 or a bit to the right and then it would fall well below 210 like the attached pic shows and then sit there for a bit before creeping back up. It did this back and forth several times before I turned the heater fan up and then it stabilized to exactly where it normally sits.
I thought maybe it was the cold weather somehow so I took it out on a different day with "normal" temps and it did the same thing. I.e. finally stabilized when I turned the heater fan up. The other weird thing was the gas gauge went down from full to 3/4 but by the time I got home it was back up between 3/4 and full lol, which is where it should have been based on the amount I drove. Dunno if it's related but I've never had it do that before. Anyone else experienced something like this?
