What counts is the Jeep did it's job and got the game back home! I left a deer one time for an hour and a half while tracking a hog, then running into some coyotes and taking one. When I got back to the deer, coyotes had already started to get into her. Fortunately, they had just started, so we arrived right after they did. This was in S TX, near CotullaA local guy B&C Transmission. He’s a Jeep nut as well. I do have a cargo carrier now.Just wasn’t prepared that day.
JMT, I'm not gonna be able to make it tomorrow, I've had some things come up the past few days that won't allow me to make it. I really wanted to make this trip, I've never been to Katemcy and was really looking forward to it.@ErikOffroad and @Bob in Texas, what time on Saturday? Anyone got a cb?
The weekend starts Fri at 1pm and lasts till Sunday about 1pm, so anytime we get there Saturday they’re open. I emailed them earlier in the week about the air station issue. No reply, so I’m depending on my Viair 88P. At worst we drive in to mason, about 5 miles and find a place to fill them. I’m 45 minutes away. I can meet up anytime. 8? 9? 10? You’ve got a drive, so whatever is comfortable for you. I’ve got recovery straps rated to 20,000lbs and a winch rated to 9500lbs. Looks like I have a PMNo cb here. I’m not sure what time yet. I have a 2 hour drive out there. I will pm u my phone number. I ditched the camping idea because it’s looking like it’s going to be in the 40’s. Do u know what time the event will start at? And do I need my crappy air compressor or should this place have it covered.
When did a closed road ever stop a Jeep?A group of us old boys were gonna go out to the Boca Chica beach last week, but the county closed the road because of the SpaceX project.
Deputy with a gun is a good deterrent, especially this far southWhen did a closed road ever stop a Jeep?
