The Ultimate Cigar Lounge Build Thread

Good point, but...
No, the foam is painted with a concrete slurry before being finished, plus, I'll be running an Ozonizer after the room is smoked in to eliminate all odors.

Good plan. Man-Cave. There will be many odors which will have nothing to do with cigars...

🙂

Actually, the stone walls will only be on the front porch area, lower landing and stairwell coming up the stairs so most of the smoke will be sucked out before it drifts down there.

Some of the verdigris you see here is real (lions head) and some is paint (Clavos and door pull), but notice the difference it makes on the door pull's definition compared to that without?
Even the rust on the speak easy grill and door knocker bolt heads is faked... lacquer & cinnamon.
Next big update... the walls!

I’ll take cohiba please, address sent. :ROFLMAO:

I have one left, letting him age a few months before enjoying it.
What about the white/gold one in front, I don’t recognize it.

He’s probably got Lusitania’s hiding somewhere.

Partagas was one of my favorite, but...
I smoked several hundreds of them over the 37 years, Cubans were all I smoked for all those years. But tbh, I don't buy Cubans anymore since Covid, they're stupidly over-priced now and not worth it. No cigar is worth over a $100 bucks a stick in terms of flavor, you literally peak in terms of flavor and complexity at $30 a stick and it's just bragging rights after that.
There's finally a plethora of great, complex and just as great non-cuban cigars now; it wasn't like that 30 years ago though.
Favorite Cuban? The Punch-Punch, by far.

I’ve had 1 punch in my career and didn’t care for it, granted it was probably a knock off. Had a box of petite corona cohiba that was aged about 4 years, my fav so far. I know your gonna frown at the petite part…but damn, who’s got an hour to smoke? :ROFLMAO:

My cheap go to is Leather Rose, one of he ones I started on and still love em.

"What this country needs, is a good 5 cent cigar."

"If Firebrass were here, I'd choke him with one hand and stick my cigar up his ass with the other!" --Mark Twain

That's about the extent of my cigar knowledge... ;)

$5 bucks is about the cheapest good cigar I've ever encountered.

The walls are going up.
1st practice sample, I'm pretty satisfied with the stones (left) color, and texture, but I believe I'll go with the bricks for my walls. Stone's color and texture looks good, but too symmetrical, bricks shapes okay, but not natural looking, I have some practice to do.
I think if I copy my hearth and do the stone shades I'll be happy, maybe?
Already know what I'm gonna do, I guess I just wanted to see it online and see what it looked like.
Feedback anyone?
