I believe I'm finally at an end to my aging and weathering, there comes a time to just STOP! I believe I'm there on my entrance. Have I missed something I'm not seeing?
Major score today and mini update...
After several failed attempts and failed arrangements to buy my Chetsrfield couch, I finally secured the perfect one!
My seating is now complete. Purchasing tables and artwork now.
Finished my stairs coming up, illuminated cubby holes and just about done with my insulation then it's on to the interior stone walls in the stairwell.
Moving along well...

It was worth the hassle and wait, glad I didn't have to finally order one because these things are expensive as you know.
Yep.............. Made by Ralph Lauren, I Think I paid 15 grand in the 90's
I don't doubt it, I've seen these things go for crazy amounts.
Now I'm gonna have to research my couch, I researched all of my chairs and got an MSRP by the makers on them, but haven't done it yet on the couch.
I got it from a newscaster that lived in this really nice hi-rise apartment in downtown Atlanta that was moving to Mexico and selling everything he couldn't take.
Artwork starting to trickle in, yeah, I'm buying that already too like my helmets.
I always wanted this as a kid, but couldn't afford that kind of money on a statue, it's huge too.
Keeping with the theme, here he is...
"Death Dealer" by Frank Frazetta, (tbh, I had to repaint all the details because it was pretty dismal on delivery), he'll take center stage on a pedestal somewhere in the room.
The horse's expression is the best part of the statue imo.
I always wanted this as a kid, but couldn't afford that kind of money on a statue, it's huge too.

Very, Very cool piece !!! Frank Frazetta did the Molly Hatchet album covers. Originals of these statues were numbered & can go into the tens of thousands of dollars. His original artwork ( he did comic covers too ) is highly sought after & can sell well into $13 Million + area.

Kirk Hammett From Metallica owns the original artwork of the " Beatin The Odds" album cover & it's titled " Conan the Berserker " It goes up for auction on 12/10/2025 Can't wait to see what this pulls !!!

I'm a retired graphic designer and now I understand why I always that the band's banner looked so bad on Frank's artwork as a kid. lol
This is the original Death Dealer 1, there's also a 2 and a 3 he did later most don't know about.
I'll probably seek these out too after my room is done, but I haven't seen those for less than $1k yet.
These (cast ceramic, ltd. to 5000) are in the $1-2k range (the "solid bronze" limited to 50 are the one's worth $8-10k). I got mine from an individual off eBay, his wife just wanted it gone I believe? lol
I'll admit, the hand painting looked like it was dry bushed on an assembly line by a 10 year old so I broke out my modeling supplies and fixed it.

Quick update...
Just insulation and dry wall at this point, but I did order my smoke "evacuation" system. Based on the size of my room the entire CFM (cubic feet per minute) volume will be exchanged 25+ times per hour (probably higher because I rounded up on room dimensions).
My buddies are using the AC Infinity 8" system with great results, so I went with them as well, but went 10".
