Thinning out a TJ 4.0 wiring harness

Got an 02 tj..4.0 that is almost a buggy.
It's now time to thin out the wiring harness
...
Has anyone ever done this ...has any advise or pointers.....
All I want is
1..what the jeep needs to run...
2..gona have 3 usb ports
3..1 12 volt port

It has the big "junction box" that has all the plugs in it ..just curios if I can just unplug what I dont need.......

It still has some of the frame ..most of the tub is there (just armored)...lol

Mike did one for us that was an LS swap. He removed every single wire that was not used. Took him a couple of days to get it all out and then re-loomed like it had never been touched.

I'm still a few years off from my TJ being a buggy but I was just wondering the same thing. Getting rid of all the unused junk would be great. (Plus I just enjoy cleaning up wiring). Tell us what circuits you end up removing

Gona tear it out and get started in the next few weeks.....I suck at wiring so it should prove to be a big job....lol
