Thoughts on removing rear inner fenders?

I took mine out and then ended up putting them back in. I dont have carpet so it was really noisy without them. Driving in the rain sounded like going through a car wash. Other than that I didnt notice any difference.

My carpet is removed so it would probably be REALLY loud.

3 out of 4 of mine are gone. Left the one over the evap system. MN winter road sludge eats everything. The Moose gets a wash 1-2 days after a big snowfall. It seems easier to be sure all the road gunk is gone without having the plastic liners.

Im not running any carpet either, no liners. I honestly could not tell a difference
