Throttle body bolt help

I was cleaning my throttle body today and while I was re-installing, one of my bolts snapped. Luckily I was able to get it out without any trouble. I was able to search and find the correct bolt size is a M6x1x30 but I am having trouble finding a conical bolt like the OEM. Does the bolt need to look exactly like the original or would it be fine as long as the size is correct? I do not want to tear up anything else!!

As long as the thread pitch and length are the same, you'll be fine.

Be sure not to overtighten those bolts again. The intake manifold is aluminum and those particular bolt holes are not hard to strip when overtightening bolts that have no reason to be that tight.

Jerry, do you recommend using thread locker on the bolts and just hand tighten to snug the bolts up or no thread locker?

No thread locker is required, the bolts only have to hold the throttle body on. It is small, doesn't move, and has a small mass. It wouldn't hurt to apply a small dab of blue non-permanent Loctite to the threads though. Just don't overtighten its four bolts... especially if Locktite is on the threads which makes it even easier to overtighten them since it is also lubricating the threads before it sets and hardens.
