SO we will be heading up to Thomes Pocket this Friday-Sat-Sunday for some family camping and to keep me from spending more money on my lift.

You could even use the M-1 pass Howard Lake to the M-21 and pass Little Doe and Hammerhorn

Thanks for the invite Tom. Probably just going run up to Horse Mt. Maybe head up the SanHedrin for a picnic lunch. Where you're going would be a long haul for me.

Clouds rolled in Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon but it just wet the dust. Cool but not bad. Got the fire

It was a fun weekend, Canyon caught at least 10 bass (small size) but honestly I put my phone away and we just enjoyed the weekend, just like you, only 1 or 2 pictures lol

I mailed off for our Christmas Tree permit, the only area open is around Stonyford and the M10/M5 so we will be getting out there for sure on one of these weekends. We will probably do it right after thanksgiving I guess.
Let us know what you find. With Hull Mt. an ash tray, we may need to head that way to find one.

Foust Springs was PACKED!!!
We wheeled around the backside from Dixie Glade that went into Mill Valley camp.
Not a lot of great trees. We stayed on the M-10 pass the LL turn off. The fire is hit and miss pass there

Went up in the Mendocino National Forest in another type of vehicle to cruise around yesterday. Never saw another person all day (other then the 2 other guys with me). Clear Lake in the background.
