Just recently i noticed a ticking sound, it only comes up when my front end is flexing though. i can’t find anything on it, just wondering if other people have had similar problems. its a pretty aggressive and loud tick too. sometimes a knock. again, only come up when front is flexing.

Front axles or front drive shaft. Go under your jeep and yank on each one and see if you can recreate some noise.

Is it an engine "tick" consistent with RPM's, or is it a hardware/undercarriage noise?

I'm going to go off on an odd-ball here.
I'm actually spending the day FIXING what you're describing, but mine is a manifold to downpipe flange.
Bolts are stripped, and allowing a small amount of movement.

During articulation "flex", it's shifting the exhaust system just enough to cause an exhaust leak.
Presented itself as a traditional exhaust leak, except would only happen during mild suspension flex.

Might be worth a look!
