I’ve been having problems with the jeep running rough and bouncing rpms while warming up after replacing the crank and cam shaft position sensors. Took it to a certified mechanic and they said it a problem with the distributor, so I figured I’d replace the whole thing.
I placed the crank to the 0 mark after cylinder 1 compression stroke and dropped the distributor in where it’s seems dead center of 1 on the cap.
Rough to start but went to drive it starts acting up at 2000 rpms and the flashing CEL pops up. Took it straight to autozone. Misfire in cylinders 1 and 4 and random misfires.
