First time driving on Oregon beaches in 20 years of living here. Don't be confused...this is not sand. It's a miserable concoction of smooth round gravel ranging from BB size to microscopic. Absolutely horrible to drive in, worse than any snow, I could barely hit 25mph and almost got stuck twice. 0 stars. Do not recommend.

When I decided on buying 33x10.5s over 12.5s...I had no intention whatsoever of driving on this 'sand'...

My wife wanted to go for a jeep ride. The roads we drove are usually used as snowmobile trails this time of year. I did use 4WD Hi. There were several shady sections covered in ice, and several section were mud.
