so, I’ve got a RE 3.5“ lift (I think 3.5) on my 2006 and assuming I can get a set of Savvy double adjustable Control arms without any delays with all the Covid stuff going on I’m replacing all 8 arms. The RE arms have been on my Tj for a couple of years, the front ones less because when my cam bolts came loose the front lowers were damaged enough I had to replace them (according to 4 wheel parts). Far as I know these are in decent shape, I’m putting in the double adjustable arms and eliminating the cam bolts and just doing them all while I’m at it and I’ll get better alignment all the way around. As I understand the downside to the RE although the initial cost is less they are somewhat less durable and they cost more to rebuild, like I said I’ve had em for a couple years and they’ve been OK banging around the desert washes and northern Sierra fire roads.
Now, all that said and depending on your budget I don’t have any plans for the old RE control arms you pay the shipping expenses and you can have my old arms if you want them, completely up to you. Also if anyone knows why using used control arms might be a bad idea please let us know I don’t want to unknowingly pass on any problem?
