hello fooks,

tj owner since 1 month. 4.0 / auto.

Somebody did some work on the tps wiring. I already ordered a new oem tps.

When the connector is of the tps, i have 2 wires that both have around 5 volt. Is that normal. one wire is 0 volt.

Correct Jerry. But when i measure inside the connector, and the connector is not connected with the tps, i have 2 wires that have 5 Volt ! That is strange.

I have the same issue on my DD XJ. Got good 5v reference to all my sensors, no voltage on ground wire, but my signal wire has a constant 4.5v, way too high. 4 or 5 junkyard sensors don't act any different. Brand new napa sensor doesn't change anything. Checked all my grounds and unwrapped most of the harness looking for damaged melted wires, nothing. Disconnected clockspring at the wheel, still no difference. Would think fried PCM at this point, but would like to be sure before spending more $$$...
