Do I need to use limited slip friction modifier in my trac loc LSD Dana 44? If so any in particular that are best? And any recommended gear oil?

Almost all gear oils now include a friction modifier. Just make sure yours does. I used Valvoline SYNPower 75W-90
I haven't had much luck with friction modified gear oils and after a few bad experiences ( clicking on turns ) not using an additive I've added a tube at every change moving forward and have not looked back.
I use Redline 75w140 in my Dana 44 trac-loc and it's nice and quiet and works well. I've used Redline in several vehicle differentials.
