Your diff cover matches my tranny!View attachment 308811

New front diff cover for my Dana 30. I bought Poison Spyder diff covers when I first bought the Jeep when it went in for gears and lockers. Nearly every time I come home from wheeling the cover was loose and would leak a little bit and I finally had enough. And with sticking to the theme I accented it PURPLE!!!
Also I ordered some PRP harnesses with a RockHard Harness bar to go behind the seats. I was planning to run this for a short while, but they are really uncomfortable with the stock seats, plus my seats are 20 years old.
So today I bit the bullet and finally ordered the PRP seats I’ve been wanting for a while. In hindsight it’s good I waited as long as I did because I changed models a few times before finally settling on the GT3. I went with the seat heaters in them as well. They go along well with the Orange and Purple theme I’m going with for the interior.
Technically it is. The only difference is the mounting tabs. If you specify in the notes that it’s going in a Jeep the install is the same as the daily driver, enduro elite or any Jeep style seats. Structurally they are no different strength/build wise from each other.Isn't the GT3 a UTV seat? What made you choose this seat and how much work will the install be?

I went with the GT3 for a couple reasons. I was looking for 7” of containment, fixed back, and I was able to sit in one at a local store and it felt amazing. It’s the same dimensions as the daily driver so fit shouldn’t be an issue.
I bounced around between several seats. I never really liked the fit of the daily driver. I wanted a little more containment but the comp elite offered a little too much for me.Good to know!
It’s so cool up there. This was only my second time going, but I feel I have a lot better lay of the land… considering it’s 72,000 acres. There is also Tackett Creek and the Sand Mines close by which are like 400k acres. Eastern Tennessee rocks! We’re going again the last weekend of June and have a crew of 6 or 7 of us, if you want to pencil it in.Awesome trip Dude. As close as I am, I’ve never been up there - definitely need to get there this year.
Definite possibility. Keep me posted. It’s so cool up there. This was only my second time going, but I feel I have a lot better lay of the land… considering it’s 72,000 acres. Will do, most of them are in the tons and 40s category. I’ll be the smallest of the bunch, so you would fit right in.Definite possibility. Keep me posted.
Jury is still out on them. I really wanted to like them. I’ve sliced two of them. One on I assume a rock(AOP) and one one a root(Windrock) I’m thinking I may have been a little lower on the pressure than I should have ~6psi but I’m still not sure I would have stood a chance against that root regardless of pressure.Dude. We gotta wheel. To bad Tellico is no longer an option - that would have been half way between us.
How do you like those Razr's?
Same here. I have a few slices in the sidewalls. Have not completely trashed one yet, but they are noticeably less tough than my old Krawlers.Jury is still out on them. I really wanted to like them. I’m gonna keep it closer to the 10 psi range for the next bit and see how they do.
I was able to get them vulcanized and repaired, and they still balanced out alright, but now having 2 flats in a span of about 3 months it will take some time to earn my confidence in them again.
Yeah I wish nitto made the trail grappler in a 15” I didn’t really want to do to 17” wheels with a 35, that’s not a lot of sidewall there. If I’m still on 15” wheels for my next set of tires it will probably be a 36x12.50 tsl-SX.Same here. I have a few slices in the sidewalls.
