Trying to decide on TrueTrac & DuraGrip limited slip

Mine arrives today. I am reading 30-40 ft pounds for torque settings on the diff cover. but, also others stating no more than 25.

Use nothing bigger than a 3/8" drive ratchet wrench and get the bolts to good and tight with nothing but hand pressure and you'll be fine.

You'll notice your tires chirping on sharp turns in parking lots on occasion. But no clicking or catching like with an auto-locker.

No, no noise at all, put one in my Silverado a while back and other than having better traction you could never tell it was there.

I had front and rear Truetracs and recall no chirping on sharp turns at all. I kept wondering if the shop had really installed them lol.

Same, no noise under ANY conditions… and I installed it so I know it was there lol
