I have Dana35/30 combo with TTs. Because of my lift and adjustable control arms, I'm unable to fill the differential to the listed capacity. I'm a little (~1/4 qt) or so short. I've tried using a ramp and that has helped some.

I'm considering the following

1. Removing control arms/driveshaft to manually rotate the differential, filling, and then rotating back and bolting everything up.
2. Differential covers with higher fill plugs
3. Ignore it...it's close enough

some other solution? I've tried cramming more in there before it pours out and that didn't seem to work.

4. use floor jack to raise differential enough to add measured oil

I parked my front end in a ditch once and laid in the road and filled mine.

realistically, you must have an unusually steep pinion angle.

You can also add more through the vent fitting but it will be slow go.

I’m with @Jerry Bransford though, wherever he is. Unless he is doing something bad, then I just was driving the Jeep.
