I'm in a situation where RCV sent me the wrong axle shafts and it looks like they are behind on filling orders so it could a couple months before I get the correct ones back.

I'm moving along and buttoning up the front of my build as much as possible while I wait. My question is can I take the front of the rig off of jackstands and rest the vehicles weight on the unit bearings bolted to the outer C's without having my front axle shafts installed?

I would never drive it this way but I was wondering if just placing the rig on it's weight would cause the unit bearings to have issues while I wait?

The outer stub shaft is what holds the unit bearing together, I would not. Can you reinstall just the old stub shafts into the unit bearings to hold them together while you're waiting? Or just cancel the RCVs and go with good 4340 shafts from someone else? RGA has outstanding 4340 shafts with 1350 size u-joints, I personally would choose them over RCV.

I am kind of frustrated with RCV, so I have been contemplating a call to them for a refund.
I have a unique situation where I have a Dynatrac front 44 that I believe takes 30spline inner axle shafts but still uses the 27spline outers.

You think RGA has a setup I could use?

Arn’t all the Rubi 44’s that way?

That's not special, that's identical to the factory TJ Rubi axles. They are a 44 pumpkin, 30 spline inners, factory 27 spline outers.

I'd call Brook at RGA directly at 425-308-9538 or Ricky at www.4lowparts.com who is a long-term RGA dealer.
