My Mopar Rock Sliders (or whatever their actual name is) arrived a few days ago, as well. I have a new plan. At the end of the year, I'm just gonna gather up everything, and sell it as an unassembled kit car!More parts to add to the pile.![]()

LOL T'was just a joke. Lovin' my TJ as a project, and expect I'll love it even more when I finally get to drive it.You better not or I'll buy it.
Me and a few thousand other Jeep heads want it![]()
..and when will that B? The clocks a tickin young man...LOL T'was just a joke. Lovin' my TJ as a project, and expect I'll love it even more when I finally get to drive it.![]()
The day you drive your TJ will be my next best day to when @bobthetj03 solves his harmonic vibes problem.LOL T'was just a joke. Lovin' my TJ as a project, and expect I'll love it even more when I finally get to drive it.![]()
Yep those are the ones. Even with the ridiculous shipping charge that's not a bad price.
Couldn't tell ya. Any notion I had of a schedule for this thing is gone. I'll just keep plugging away at it, as time allows. I still see the completed vision in my head, and that keeps me going. Planned on working on it for the past three days. Instead, I'm doing repairs on my wife's daily driver XJ. Of course, she's very pleased to have some of the issues corrected on her rig, and I'm happy to see the results of my efforts, but still, the TJ sits in the garage waiting......

Sorry, man. Those things do move quickly. That's why I was shocked to see the guy's posting on Craigslist (for the ones I bought) had been up for 28 days!Just went to go buy them and they are gone. The power of the forum...

By the time you get to putting those louvers on your rig, you will have bought another set. I'll make it easy on you, just sell them to me. Plus, it'll clean out some room inside your TJ!Sorry, man. LOL I acquire what I want for the Teej this year, because come 2019, I'm reverting back to my old responsible self, and dumping money into the early pay-off of my mortgage. As @KCsTJ pointed out, the clock's a tickin'...on retirement! This year, I have been massively distracted by the TJ. But it's all good. Wouldn't have met you fellas had it not been for that Jeep. Been one of the coolest parts of my life, I'll tell you what.By the time you get to putting those louvers on your rig, you will have bought another set. That's a very nice install.
Can you lay the windshield down flat and still clear the louvres?
Man that's some slick paint on that hood .I fitted my poison spider with rivets then raptor lined it all. No change to engine temps at all.

I never lower my windshield. As you can see in the close up I used the hole where the rubber windshield bumper was as a mounting and location guide. In my opinion mounting the louvers at the high point of the hood was most efficient at releasing heat. If you like I can snap a photo of the drip trays as well.

If you're asking about those vents, I can tell you that they're from a '98 Grand Cherokee with a 5.9 Limited (360cid) engine. That's the only year they were used, and only with the 5.9 V8. The 5.2 V8 and the 4.0 I6 did not have them. They're hard to come by, but they are out there. I'm picking up a set (had to buy the entire hood) this Saturday.Where did these come from sir?
From...?My new hood vent.
