New to site. Hello everyone
97 TJ 4.0 with 5 speed manual
35” tires with 5” combined body and suspension lift.
Just regeared to 4.88 with Detroit tru trac in rear.
Professionaly done
I am encountering slight vibration when I decelerate in fifth gear.
This is the only point where vibration is noted.
I am following break in procedure.
Is this normal and is it safe for vehicle?
Thanks ang God Bless
David

It could be driveline angles or a host of other things. Post some pics showing the full rear shaft from the side showing from transfer to axle. Same with front shaft. Than show (from the front) several pics showing full steering system and some cloaeups of each side spring. The more angles the better. We've got a lot of experience dissecting suspension and driveline issues here.

Vibrations that only occur during deceleration can be caused by a rear pinion angle that is slightly too low. X2 to the above request for a photo or two showing a side view of the rear pinion to driveshaft angle relationship. Don't get too close with the camera, insure the photo shows most of the pumpkin and at least half of the driveshaft.
