My guess is that they will all make sound which my crappy hearing cannot discern. The ringing in my ears keeps me from hearing the highs and lows, right in the middle. Blessing is, it severely cuts down on the wind noise.

polks are marine rated and have a wider range at the high and low than the other speakers.

i prefer polk MM, but per specs, I'd rather have polk DB series from your options

Don't do it. Bigger is not always better. Diminishing the sound from your front speakers with huge rear speakers, right at your ears, won't improve your overall sound fidelity. Imagine a home entertainment system with huge rear speakers, and normal front speakers. Then, think of how good a Bose system sounds, with all the speakers the same size.
I see your point, but some larger speakers give better sound quality and the front vs rear speaker volume can be controlled with the fader.

What's the point of fading the speakers and creating an abnormal sound stage and canceling out the larger speakers? What not just have a balanced quadrophonic sound system with all the speakers the same, like a bose system. Sure, you can throw some cheap 6.5's into your system, and create an unbalanced system that you have to fade to compensate, but then you ruin the point of having the larger speakers, showing that they don't really help to create a better sound system.
For example, I have 140 watt 5.25 RMS all around using a Alpine Pdx-v9. You could do the same with polks or kickers, and have a perfectly balanced system that sounds great and naturally allows you to hear all the speakers at zero fade. This is the way studio quadrophonic albums were designed to be heard. It sounds amazing.
Without good bass added to the system, the tiny speakers just don't sound good enough for me.

speaker size, as long as they arent the crappy 4x6, wont affect volume as much as they will affect range. generally speaking, 6.5's have deeper mid range lows than 5.25's. the additional bass out of a 6.5 in an over head speaker wont force you to fade any more than a 5.25, it will just sound better.
ie. polk db series
5.25 = 55hz-22khz
6.5 = 40hz-22khz
both speakers have the same power handling specs and very similar sensitivity levels. the difference is the 6.5 has a deeper low end.

Neither one of those speakers is going to play anything under 80-90hz with authority

not like a dedicated sub would, but they do produced lower tones than a speaker with a 60-80 hz bottom end, especially when amplified
The front stage is the most important. If you're going to have larger speakers, front would be more beneficial. That said, most vehicles have the rear speakers in the rear doors or behind the seats. Most in the know will focus on the front stage. The rear stage is used mostly for fill and is not as important. So if you're going to spend money, you would do nicer speakers up front, not as much in the rear. Common to use components up front and coax/full range for the rear.
Having the rear speakers in the sound bar directly behind the head is not very far, so different from most vehicles. Acoustics are also terrible in Jeeps. Hard top obviously better. If you have a soft top, well there's not going to be much you can do to make it sound good. Bass being non-directional can be anywhere. Tweeters being most directional.

I have a set of the JBL GTO629s in my overhead sound bar and they have been really good, I really think you cant go wrong with them! However i am running the stock amp so there is that.

I've had mine for 5 years and put plenty of power to them. Still sound great.
Kicker 6.75 and 5.5. Sounds better than the "premium" sound systems in my two new vehicles.

Try using a 1500 watt Alpine PDX-V9 amp with them. lol. I've had my CDT'S for over 10 years and they have taken the best of my Alpine amp without a problem. I guess that's a testament to how they are made. The Infinity Kappa's are rated at 55 Watts RMS, like the Kickers, where as my CDT'S were rated at 120 watt RMS. After 10 years, I was so happy and impressed with them, that I upgraded all 4 speakers to the latest 140 watt RMS version when they were on sale. Kickers and Kappas just leave no real room to grow. They may sound fine unless you put any decent amp to them. I believe I spent $100 dollars a pair originally for my CDT'S. Plus, they are made in California, where we know our music. I'll take USA quality, especially USA California where the best quality artists like EVH was made over any Over Seas made junk. But, that's just me.

yes, massively overpowering a speaker, 55w rms speaker running off a 100w rms amp will destroy the speaker in minimal time. that is an application error, not the fault of the speaker.
thats a nice amp, but is the 1% THD spec accurate? that seems crazy high and may be the way they were able to get the 100w rms spec.
the eclipse xa4000 that I have been powering my polk momo's with for close to 20 years is spec'ed at 125w rms x4 at .05% THD.
perhaps they only give specs for THD for the mono channel, but 1% THD output would be a shame with high quality speakers.
Definitely on you if you 'blew those things out in a week'. I don't own them, but have read nothing but excellent reviews of the Kappa series. If you blew them out, they must have been installed incorrectly. Too much or too little power can ruin speakers. Need to review how much power they're rated for, get the crossover set correctly (if needed).

The Infinity Kappas were recommended by the store that sold them to me for the application, when I brought the amp. When they blew, they replaced them at full refund since it wasn't my fault.
The Alpine PDX-V9 is reputable the best amp on the market and 1% THD is known to be below noticeable distortion to the ears. I would love to see specs on a 1000 watt amp that claims 0.5% THD. My Alpine runs really cool and the small form size of it allows it to fit under my dash. Not bad for a 1500 watt, 5 channel amp, that I've had now for over 10 years. From what I'm reading Polks are made in Tijuana, Mexico. According to Crutchfield the 5.25 polk Momo was rated at between 10-70 watt RMS. Let's just average that for argument, and say 35 watts RMS. If a speaker can blow at 10 Watts continuous, I don't think it's a good speaker. But, that's just me.

Nope, it wasn't on me as they were recommended by the store for that amp. They were professionally installed and refunded when they blew. The amp was professionally installed and set too. The Infinity Kappa's were trash. I even had the 4x6 Infinitys in the front and they blew in a couple of days and everyone knows that the 4x6 speakers are trash. After that I went 5.25 all around with the CDT'S, cranking that Alpine until the roof shakes, and the ground moves, and the CDT'S handle it without a problem.
Show me a Polk, Kicker or Infinity speaker that can handle that, or I rest my case.
They're a little improvement over factory speakers but that's about it.
