Warn Rock Crawler Bumper

Thanks! I was torn on using this or selling it to fund a MORyde setup and another bumper. But with this setup weighing in at 80lbs, I’m not sure all that effort is worth saving.... 20-30lbs at most. Unless I went with an aluminum bumper but I’d really like to keep the hitch.

Is that 80 pounds including the tire carrier? If so, what do you reckon the bumper weighs by itself?

I'm in a similar boat. I have an old Body Armor bumper that weighs a metric crap ton and isn't real pretty anyway...have a Warn stubby up front but I already have the MORryde and need the receiver hitch because I have a hitch-mount carrier that I use for the longer trips with the wife and kids. If buying new I'll probably go with something like Next Venture motorsports that wraps around the frame crossmember but I could go with the Warn if I found it used for a good price.

@freedom_in_4low also check out the Bestop Element rear bumper. Very similar in design to the Warn. It’s about the same price as the Warn, but it’s another option to look for used. A member on here has one for sale for $200 right now, but he’s not willing to ship unfortunately 😕

Just waiting on paint to dry. Sprayed the tire mount and carrier support bracket.

All done! Turned out pretty well considering what I started with. Has a couple small “issues” I’m not particularly fond of, but I’ll make some adjustments later on 😁👍🏼

Here’s my “issue”. The carrier has some slop in it and is causing it to tilt out about 1/4”. I’m not sure if replacing the Teflon bushing that the carrier pivots on would help correct this or not. I’m going to put some washers under the tailgate snubber to snug it up for now, but after my trip this weekend I’ll probably turn a new bushing and make it a bit thicker push the carrier up into the support bracket a little. I’m hesitant to go too thick though due to interference/drag from the support bracket. Maybe that’s better than a flopping tire though.. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Added some washers behind the one tire snubber to prevent any rattles. More of a temporary solution for the next week or two. Finished the evening off with a quick drive to grab some better pictures of the final setup

Hi all,
Can anyone suggest the basic dimensions of warn rock crawler bumpers? What is the angle of inclination of the front wall? Do the front and rear have similar parameters, or are they different? Thanks a lot
