Because I assumed that you went from 0 to 3 Wranglers in a fairly short period of time. That just tickled my funny bone. I shouldn't talk though, went from 0 to two wranglers in two years.
@StG58 you are exactly right. 2.5 months to be exact. Now that you put it that way, it is pretty hilarious. I caught the bug Bad! And side note, Dave had and still has a jk rubicon prior to my bug. Goes to show TJ's are something special. Trust when I saying half of he jeeps will be sold sooner than later. And I bet you can guess which two will be sold.

ld love to meet you all! However I know that "talk" with Dave would turn into a guy fest and soon you would all be best buds! I need to get him on this forum, but am guessing everything will be filtered through me.
On a side note, Dave is extremely generous. He just likes to see me squirm and beg.
They can have their guy fest and us lady Jeepers can go find a wine bar. That's my vote.

Oregon wine country is just down the road a piece from me. Thousands of miles of Jeep trails are just down the road a piece from me, the other way. It sounds like I need to start a Jeep ranch or something!

Not a bad idea actually. You charge a fee to get in, and you could easily pay the property taxes just off of what you'd make by admission.
You could up-sell people by offering on site "rig repair" so to speak. In other words, if they blow out an axle, you come help them sort it out.
You could up-sell even more by having an onsite place to grab a bite to eat or something to drink.
Hell... If you could find the money to start something like that up, I can pretty much guarantee you it would be a huge success. You know as well as I do, we have a large off-road community here in the PNW.

OK, 10% discount for Wranglertjforum members in good standing. @LTTJ and @Kathy get in free for sparking the idea. All I need is to find a good mechanic or two and get @AOR to set up shop on site so that we have parts available. Bonus points if you show up in a mall crawler and actually take it through the rock garden.

My husband is a small business accountant... so we have accounting and payroll services covered for our Jeep Ranch also.

He's only driven the tj a few times so once he gets some time in it He'll be able to compare. I do know he hated the shocks in his jk and it developed a small squeak which he couldn't locate so I think that might jade his opinion a bit.

Famous last words. My friend bought a '65 Mustang, threw it on a trailer and towed it 3 blocks without tying it down. A guy ran a stop sign at block number 2 my friend slammed on the brakes and the Mustang ended up in the bed of his pickup.

Sounds like Dave is becoming a legend on this forum... even if he isn't a member! Congrats to the both of you. It's refreshing to see someone get such a good deal on this stuff these days.
Thank you! I'm working on him to join the forum. Especially because he's in the midst of makeup no big decisions on what to replace/change.
