Hey, you may already know, but Tuffy makes a front license plate bracket that fits to your fairlead hawser. It flips up if you need to use the winch.

Yeah, awesome! Good practice with the winch and easier on the back!

Playing upholstery trying to save my soft top for another season. Under the duct tape was a long rip, I sewed it up then covered it in tape to keep it from leaking. And all the window surrounds are separating.

Got a steal on a used Bestop Supertop recently. By steal I mean free. Owner replaced it with a Trektop NX and just wanted it out of his garage. My LJ had the trektop on it when I bought it and I've always planned to buy a Supertop when it was time for a replacement. I sourced a set of roll bar mounting brackets for $10, cleaned, and installed it today in about an hour.

Yeah its a ruggedly beautiful part of the coast, The sand is black because of a very high Iron content going back to its volcanic origins.
