What did you do to your TJ today?

Very nice! Can that winch be converted to synthetic?

I sure hope so..... I've got @mrblaine winch rope waiting to go on it.

Been putting my jeep axle stuff on the Blackburner this past month since I've been enjoying life&my jeep and shooting my new toy since I turned 21 past April (my Sp5😁)

But my jeep will need to be seeing another....Dana 44 since I've seen to have hurt the axle I got from market place some 🤏🏼🙃 The Dana 44 that was in my Lj originally will be going back but with 5.13s& my beloved truetrac, chromo shafts etc.😁 some time soon!

With my style of driving of doing lots of spirited driving (Driting, donuts, etc.)😆I need my trutrac back. I will miss the fact of having a dedicated locker but I'll save that for the front axle and even then my Lunchbox locker does great....sometimes

Back saver 9000.....just not when loading it up on the cart😶

Edit-Peep the RMS leak🙃....
Edit#2-
Added some bracing in the middle
Used alot of screws

It's pretty damn sturdy now!!!
I gotta actually jump on it with my 280 pound 6'1 figure to feel some sort deflection on the dolly, before I would walk on it and I felt some deflection but now it's gone when stepping on it😁

Edit#3-
I was bored so I burnt the wood to preserve it some more even if its treated and I had to test it out so I put it under the jeep😁

Might add some actual bolts over the wood screws i used on the middle board since they didn't seem to hold up after 20 mins of it under it and me bouncing on the jeep

She is a SWEETHEART

She is! She's such a good girl. She lost her tail to cancer about a month ago and since then, her condition has improved quite a bit but we don't know how much longer she'll be with us.

Hopefully a good long while but I want to keep her out and about as much as I can. She's REALLY slowed down on stairs so I've been trying to work with her a little to build back up her rear leg strength and stability.

Poor girl. It's amazing how they don't let things bring them down

Truth! My old girl should be cripple, but she runs around the back yard from the gates on both sides of the house, barking at dog walkers, bicycle riders, postal carriers, delivery drivers, and landscaper trucks as if she doesn’t have any leg and hip issues.

Good girl!! That’s her “job” she knows that’s what she’s supposed to do. It could drive you nuts, but she thinks it’s her job and will continue to do it, for you, regardless of pain.

Installed a fresh back up camera. Our old setup only worked intermittently.

The new one is a “plug and play”.

I took my time, about 1.5hrs for the removal/install but the new one is a very simple, slick setup with power drawn from the cigarette lighter for both the monitor and the camera. (I was able to function test the whole assembly in about 2mins - the time spent was for mounting the camera on our jamboree rack, mounting the monitor on our windshield and routing the wire from the camera to the dash)

It’s a “push for on” function out of the box, which suits me fine, since we might want to use it for monitoring a towed trailer or other vehicles behind us, but it can also be wired via the backup lights.

No idea on longevity, but i think it’ll do just fine for now.

Not bad for less than $40.00

What did I do with my jeep today? Torched the AC compressor 20 minutes into a 3 hour road trip to OKC....

Here I sit, sweating my balls off as I drive into OKC this afternoon...

Pulled into the hotel parking lot and heard a horrid grinding and smelled burned rubber. Clutch is locked up, time to get a replacement ordered and installed.... go me!

Also, can I just replace the clutch or do I need to replace the whole compressor?
